A PubMed find...

While searching through PubMed at work today, I came across this article:

J Int Assoc Physicians AIDS Care (Chic Ill). 2004 Oct-Dec;3(4):108-9. Parachute use to prevent death and major trauma related to gravitational challenge: systematic review of [randomized] controlled trials. Smith GC, Pell JP.

Too bad I don't have access to a copy of this! It's a joke, right??

Mt. Index and Lake Serene

Yesterday I hiked up to Bridal Veil Falls and Lake Serene at the foot of Mt. Index. It was certainly beautiful and swimming in the lake was refreshing!

Five pharmacists on a hill

We made it! Khue-Nhi, Kevin, Ryan, Karl and me on top of Mailbox Peak with Mt. Rainier in the background.

The plan for Saturday:

Mailbox Peak: "Don't let the notion of a mailbox fool you into thinking this is a tame and easy hike. It's not. It's definitely not for the children. It's 12 miles round trip with an elevation gain of 4,000 feet, and the trail never catches its breath. Once it begins to climb it doesn't level out until the very end."

I'm planning to do this with a group of guys from work. Think I can make it? :-D
