Wall hooks

Check it out, I finally got this coat rack thing to hang on my wall! It took me several weeks and several trips to the hardware store to get all the necessary and correct tools, but I did it! Not only that, but it seems to be fairly solid too...and level! Unfortunately, I'm not sure how much weight it will actually hold. I guess I'll find out!

Uh-oh, my bookshelves are full and I still have four boxes of books to unpack!

Where I work

So this is it. This is where I work as seen from the corner of the pharmacy taken stealthily with the camera in my Palm. I spend my working hours sitting in one of these three chairs-- either in one of the two occupied ones or the third one on the very right-hand side of this picture (my least favorite). I spend most of my time either wiggling my fingers (see guy in chair #1) or with a phone clamped to my ear (see guy in chair #2) or both.

My first bundt

One of the best things about working evenings in my pharmacy is that all the manager-type people have gone home for the day so rules can relax a bit. Namely, the no-food-in-the-pharmacy rule. So...to celebrate my birthday on the evening shift, one of the techs brought in a cake. It was really good and she gave me the recipe. Tonight I made the cake myself, but since I can't share the cake with you, I'll just share the recipe!

Monica's Kahlua Bundt:
1 box extra moist devil's food cake mix
4 eggs
1 cup Kahlua
1 cup sour cream
1/3 cup oil
chocolate chips to taste

Mix it all up really well then pour into a greased bundt pan. Bake at 350 for 30-45 minutes. Enjoy!
