I'm famous, too!

Ryan's picture of me looking out at Mt. Rainier from Mailbox Peak has been published on the front page of the Washington State Tourism website. If you click on that picture in their website, you find that his picture of me is the main photo on the site's Washington's Great Outdoors page. Congratulations, Ryan!

No more plastic!

On May 14th we came home and found this:



The plastic that had wrapped our apartment building all winter had finally been taken down. Hooray! Now the scaffolding is down and we have the use of our back patio, too.

Inspired by the sunshine we decided to go out yesterday afternoon for a picnic dinner at Green Lake. It was a gorgeous day for people watching, photography, and discussions of quantum weirdness. Pictures here and here.

Flaming Geyser

Dad and Grampa came to Seattle for a brief visit last week. On my day off we went for a drive out to Flaming Geyser State Park to enjoy the sunshine and a picnic on the banks of the Green River. Pictures here!
