Lake Melakwa

After a rainy Saturday to clear away the haze from the air, Ryan and I headed out on Sunday for a hike in Snoqualmie Pass to Lake Melakwa. Pictures are here and here.

Maple Pass

Last weekend Ryan and I decided to go for a hike in the North Cascades. We headed for a loop hike recommended by a co-worker: Maple Pass. It was beautiful, but probably would've been moreso earlier in the season when the water was still running in the creeks and the flowers were still in the bloom. Also, there was a big wildfire burning not too far away, the smoke from which was hazing up our views! Great hike overall, though. Pictures are here and here.
