Pictures on the Walls

After living in this apartment for nearly 10 months, we decided it was high time we took our pictures out of the closet and hung them on the wall. We hung 8 pictures in all and I have to say it does spice thing up around here!

Announcing our Engagement!

On the Summer Solstice, in the fjords of Norway, beneath the Bøyabreen glacier, on the edge of the Brevatnet lake, Ryan asked me to marry him and I said yes. We haven't set a date yet, but we're aiming for April. Hooray!

This weekend I got...

1) A cold
2) A new computer!



I bought the whole set up--computer, monitor, 3-in-1 printer, and all the accessories from Best Buy today for $600. Now there's nothing holding me back from posting those Iceland pictures!

Too bad I don't have a comfy chair to go with my new set up...

Happy 4th of July!

Yesterday Ryan and I decided to go down to Gasworks Park to see the fireworks show on Lake Union. We arrived at 11am for a show that started at 10pm. We spread out our picnic blanket and camped out with our cooler and books for a day in the sun. By the time the fireworks started there wasn't a square foot available in the park to squeeze another body into, but we had a great view of a great show! Pictures here.

It was fun and now that we've done it we never have to do it again! ;-)

Back to the real world

We had a great time in Norway and Iceland! Now we're back in the real world of laundry and work. No pictures to show you yet, but I'll leave you with a few teasers from Iceland...
